This afternoon during the festivities of Anime Japan 2019, the Re:ZERO official Japanese website updated with a key visual and trailer announcing a second season of the hit 2016 anime series Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World.

The news comes only days after a second theatrical OVA was scheduled for release this fall in Japan, following the success of October's Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Memory Snow, which topped out at #8 in the Japanese box-office.

There's currently no date for when the second season of the title will launch, but we'll keep you up to speed if anything changes!
